Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong is known as the General Director of Nam Huong Group and is strategic consultant of branding & personal branding with more than 20 years of experience. Especially, she is also the Founder & CEO of Women Leaders International Networking – WLIN Global – One of the leading networks in Vietnam & in the world.

WLIN understands that women play a vital role in keeping family happiness, growing children and contributing significantly to the development of local communities as well as worldwide. Women are interested to be not only successful in work, but also happy in life and if they are happy, they will make the whole world happy also contribute on buiding the next generation.

 

 

On the occasion of the Launching Ceremony of WLIN Kenya, we have a short interview with Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong.

Dear Ms. Nguyen Thu Huong, as we know, you are the Founder & CEO of Women Leaders International Networking – WLIN Global. Can you share with readers more about WLIN as well as the philosophy and mission that WLIN has been aiming for?

Women Leaders International Networking (WLIN) is a network for female business leaders and social organizations which are eager to find opportunities for cooperation, business development, and expansion of relations in domestic and international area. With the criteria to help members: More Beautiful – More Successful and Happier, WLIN has attracted the attention and participation of many female leader communities in many countries around the world.

The mission of WLIN is to connect the global leaders together not only create the good things for themselves, for family or for each country, but also build a better world for future generations, because you will not be able to succeed without the support of your friends, and you will not be happy with loneliness. Therefore, when joining WLIN, you will actively connect with other women in the network to be more successful and happier.

WLIN understands that women play a vital role in keeping family happiness, growing children and contributing significantly to the development of local communities as well as worldwide. Women are interested to be not only successful in work, but also happy in life and if they are happy, they will make the whole world happy also contribute on buiding the next generation.

Therefore, WLIN always creates a friendly environment, providing high coherence between the members of the network so they have the ability to develop relationships for themselves in order to facilitate the work and excite the life to be More beautiful – More successful & Happier.

From up to now, WLIN focuses on developing human heart model. According to this, each president will be the heart of 10 Vice – Presidents and each vice – president will be the heart of 10 WLIN members in different fields of business. This structure is different with managing structure in the enterprises or social organization now.

 

 

In parallel with human heart model, WLIN has grown significantly due to scientific and effective developmental methods which focus on “servicing – honoring” members. It can be said that WLIN is a chain of shining pearl. Each pearl will be strung together in a string of precious pearls. So every member should take care of their image to be shining like a pearl. The good personal brand of each member will result in the good image of WLIN.

 

What are the reasons you want to develop WLIN in Kenya?

Caroline is Mrs. Pennsylvan United States 2018. She became a manager when I was honored to participate in Mrs. World in 2011. Since then, she & I still have a very friendly relationship with each other. She came to Vietnam to participate in many events organized by WLIN Global. When she joined in the event, she wanted to bring this model and develop it in Kenya. After 5 years of monitoring, this is the time she wants to develop WLIN in Kenya.

 

 

WLIN’s mission is for the advancement of women in Asia. In addition, Africa is also an area where women are very vulnerable. Therefore, we stand by the point of view: Women can connect and change the world, WLIN Global wishes to develop in Kenya to link the two continents and also to help Kenyan women develop and increase their opportunities to integrate into the world.

 

 

And Kenya is also one of the developing countries with a population of 49.7 million (2017), I hope to have an opportunity to engage WLIN ASEAN with Kenya to develop WLIN in Africa.

 

 

What are your plans for connecting women leaders in Kenya?

In the age of Industrial Revolution 4.0, with the connection of social networks, the distance is no longer the limit. The only distance that exists is the cultural distance, the perception, the openness. If women leaders come and share with them sincerely from the heart to the heart then that distance will no longer have limits and technology will help to erase the distance about border. WLIN will use all 4.0 technology to connect members and use the philosophy of Women Leader properly in terms of network development, human heart and brand in order to help members of WLIN Kenya develop because that model has been successful in Asia, it will succeed in Africa with the right philosophy, right people..

 

 

Can you share with readers about the direction and strategy of WLIN Global from now until the end of 2020?

WLIN Global has its own set of development strategies that focus on training and develop Partner system because at one stage no one can handle such a large workload. Therefore, only Partners – Enthusiasts with community activities will be able to split up to support community activities. And as we have pointed out, by 2020, we expect to have around 100 Global Partners, developing 300 strong clubs with 30,000 members interacting with each other.

 

 

We will have a plan to develop an online system to help members stay connected, training programs continue to be maintained so that members can operate their clubs in the best way; organize business tour activities to other countries to increase opportunities for business linkages between countries; support foreign trade investment promotion activities in Vietnam to create more investment opportunities in Vietnam.

 

 

And I think one of the activities I will continue to develop and accompany for the next few years is to build the next generation. And the successor generations here are the children of the members in the network, who have been with WLIN for a long time and created a lot of values. We want our next generation at the age of 18 to be able to participate in the activities of the Women Leader to learn how to lead community activities because I believe that when they are approached early, the opportunity to shape the brand strategy, shape their career and have a long-term contribution to society. Since then, their lives will be “More beautiful – More successful – Happier”
